A Visit to a Moroccan Hammam
What to do with painful muscles the day after a long hike/ride in Chefchaouen, Morocco? Visit a hammam! I heard about the Moroccan bathhouse experience and decided to try it for myself. Riding in the Atlas Mountains
My second full day at Imlil, Morocco was the day I did a long unicycle ride. My route took me up a mountain pass and into the next valley over, which meant I was finally the only foreigner in sight. Or sometimes even the only person in sight. In the end, my day ended up being a rollercoaster of ups and downs, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Mountain Unicycling in Imlil, Morocco
Even though I grew up in Alaska, I find Danish winters difficult. It’s not the cold or the rain or the wind that gets me – it’s the lack of sun. After a few weeks of constant cloud cover, I am often depressed and de-energized. So, for 2018, I decided to take a winter vacation in Morocco and bring my mountain unicycle.
